The tool automatically samples a clear green or blue backdrop on load; Pick is there when you want to sample it yourself. Tolerance controls the removed color range. Edge softness blends the boundary, and spill cleanup reduces the selected green or blue cast. Use Original and Matte to inspect your key.

Download transparent WebM video, a ZIP of transparent PNG frames, or the current frame as PNG or WebP. Choose a solid color or image in the green screen background editor to bake in a replacement backdrop instead.
Video and PNG sequence exports are silent. WebM encoding needs a browser with WebCodecs VP8 support, such as current desktop Chrome or Edge. If unavailable, the video option is disabled and PNG sequence remains available. PNG sequences contain one image for each selected frame-rate interval.

What kind of video works best?
Talking-head clips, product demos and people filmed against an evenly lit green or blue screen are a good fit. Load your video and the tool picks a clear screen color automatically. If it cannot find one, use Pick to sample the backdrop.
How will my hair look?
The tool is designed to keep the main shape of your subject. Hair edges may show a slight green fringe, and very fine individual strands will not be preserved separately. Use the preview to check the outline before exporting.
Does my video leave this device?
No. File decoding, color keying and export all run in your browser. There is no processing server or file upload.
Can I remove a blue screen too?
Yes. Use the Blue preset or sample any solid backdrop with Pick. Choose a flat, evenly lit color for a cleaner key.
Why does a player show a black background?
Some players and editors do not display WebM transparency. Try Chrome or import into an editor that supports WebM alpha. PNG sequence is the fallback for workflows that cannot read transparent WebM.
Can I use this on my phone?
The editor and image export work in modern mobile browsers. Video decoding and WebM encoding vary by device. The format menu checks available encoding support. Long video exports are demanding on mobile memory and battery.
